Is it good?
Pixiv Inc. has put efforts and engineered a sophisticated app. What makes it successful? It is very easy to use for such a solid social networking app with built-in features. Well, as a top-performing app with an overall rating of 4.70 I can only add what people who have tried it are saying.
And I mean better all around inside and outside the app. Haven't experienced any huge slowdowns, crashes, or unresponsiveness when interacting. Being able to support more adult content, this is during the tumblr meltdown of flagging everything as nsfw to be nuked or banned mind you, where dA is wishy-washy more dependent on the mod is a plus too. Artists and writers have distinct separate categories that work too, rather than everything getting the same looking thumbnail.
To be completely honest, even though the majority of the content creators on this app post in languages other than English, it is still very easy to learn and traverse the app and view some of the most astonishing art around (Usually art with anime vibes and themes). Nonetheless I feel everyone should give this app a chance and give credit where it is due, because a lot of the creators on this app put their heart into their work and it shows!
