ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, SECN, and more are all available to stream live in the ESPN App. Access to live video is determined by your TV provider and package and, in some instances, your Internet service provider.

The ESPN app is a go to and is a must have among my sports apps, it has been ever since I got my first iPhone in 2014. It needs some work though.
First, an accessibility complaint as a blind user. In certain areas like when viewing news or scores, the app will some times jump and not hold your place when using Voiceover.
Second,when listening to live audio of events like MLB or NBA games, the audio will some times jump back more than 30 seconds, or an add will start playing in the middle of the event when there was not a cut to a commercial break. That must be resolved.
Finally, and I don't know why this is, but the World Wide Leader in sports limits the number of teams you can get updates for to 50. CBS doesn't do that, FOX doesn't. So why does ESPN cap the number of teams you can follow for specific alerts. For game alerts across all the leagues, I have to have the alerts turned on in all the league apps, why could I not just use ESPN to get game and team updates for as many teams as I want? The World Wide Leader in sports can't e that if it is going to cap the app at 50 teams.
So lets get on the ball ESPN and make this the all star of sports apps. There is no reason you can't have the best sports app in the business. You can do a lot more to separate yourself from the competition.
I would say once you actually get the ESPN+ app installed it works pretty well on Roku and is easy to navigate with the remote......the big problem is it literally takes a PhD and engineering degree to get the app installed on a non QLED TV which many do not have esp if you’ve purchased a tv prior to 2017.....ESPN also failed to offer a heads up on this so if you have an older tv be prepared for a long set up process.....after about 8 hours and a trip to the store to purchase said Roku device we hunkered down to watch Connor v cowboy....sad to say 40 secs was a huge letdown but it looks like the UFC lineup In coming months looks promising....One other note....the sound was on a 10-15 sec delay which was annoying and unacceptable...I’m wondering if anyone else had this issue....I did appreciate the discounted price for the fight so overall some good and some bad points...work on that streaming being in sync and we’ll be back with another review after the next fight....GO NINERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
